Role Overview

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you’ll collaborate with architects, DevOps teams, and security professionals to design and implement high-availability, scalable cloud solutions. Your work will contribute directly to Takeda’s mission by enabling cloud-first solutions that drive innovation and deliver impactful business outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy scalable cloud solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Utilize microservices architecture, design patterns, and CI/CD pipelines to implement cloud infrastructure.
  • Provision AWS environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Monitor production environments for vulnerabilities and troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Collaborate with product teams to define feature specifications for next-gen digital health solutions.
  • Work with network and security teams for environment provisioning, capacity planning, and configuration.
  • Participate in support rotations and respond to system alerts to ensure uptime.
  • Maintain application documentation in line with Takeda’s quality standards.

Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and system-level scripting (Bash/PowerShell).
  • Experience with Docker containers, CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps), and modern DevOps concepts.
  • Strong debugging skills for operating systems and infrastructure issues.
  • Excellent communication and business acumen.
