Role Overview

We’re looking for a DevOps Developer with a passion for cloud backend development and automation. You’ll play a critical role in designing, enhancing, and automating world-class cloud platforms. Collaborate with a diverse team to redefine how cloud infrastructure is deployed and governed, while enabling seamless operations through DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and automate IBM’s cloud infrastructure and backend systems.
  • Ensure the seamless deployment and governance of large-scale cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and debug system issues.
  • Implement container management solutions using technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Drive innovation and operational excellence within IBM’s cloud platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Cloud Infrastructure: Expertise in Compute, Network, and Storage layers.
  • Deployment Experience: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and large-scale deployments.
  • Containerization: Proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker for container management.
  • Cloud Governance: Knowledge of infrastructure governance and policy enforcement.
  • Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Programming Languages: Experience with Golang is a significant advantage.
  • DevOps Expertise: Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
  • Linux Knowledge: Solid experience with Linux environments.
  • Platform Knowledge: Hands-on experience with the IBM Cloud platform.
