Experience: 3-6 Years (Level 2/3 Support)

Key Responsibilities

  • Configuration & Installation:

    • Setup and initial configuration of Cisco network devices (routers, switches).
    • Hands-on experience with hardware replacement and configurations.

  • WAN & Switching Expertise:

    • Proficient in OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP routing protocols.
    • Strong knowledge of VLAN, ACL, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VRRP, HSRP, and EtherChannel.

  • Network Maintenance:

    • Perform hardware/software upgrades, decommissions, and capacity upgrades.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve Layer 2 issues, hardware failures, and link downtimes.

  • Firewall & Wireless Management:

    • Hands-on with CISCO ASA, Fortinet Firewalls, and Aruba/Cisco wireless controllers.
    • Administration and troubleshooting of DHCP, GuestNet, and access points.

  • Monitoring & Tools:

    • Experience with SolarWinds and ServiceNow.
    • Manage and monitor network performance using standard tools.

  • Load Balancer:

    • Troubleshooting and managing F5 GTM & LTM load balancers.

Key Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Cisco routers (7200, 3800) and switches (Catalyst 3750, 9300).
  • Working knowledge of FortiGate firewalls and ticketing tools like ServiceNow.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, WLC, and security policies.
  • Skilled in resolving network issues such as link down, packet drops, and latency.

Work Environment

  • Willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational shift.
  • Collaborate with on-site coordinators, field engineers, and third-party vendors.
  • Develop and refine SOPs & Run Books for operational excellence.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on SLA adherence.
  • Knowledge of STP and Layer 2 security features.
  • Awareness of on-site concepts and incident management practices.
